The International Trade Administration Commission of South Africa (ITAC) today announced the initiation of an investigation into the alleged dumping of frozen bone-in poultry portions originating in or imported from the European Union.
The application was lodged by the South African Poultry Association (SAPA), alleging that the subject product is being dumped into the SACU market, causing material injury to the local industry. ITAC will now conduct a formal investigation to determine the merits of these allegations.
