Following a comprehensive tariff investigation, ITAC has recommended a temporary rebate of the full anti-dumping duty on certain steel components used in the manufacture of renewable energy infrastructure.
The Commission found that the local industry is currently unable to meet the high demand for these specific components, and the rebate will support the government’s broader goals for a green energy transition while maintaining competitive manufacturing costs.
